Project terms

This page explains how our projects work, in plain English. Every project also has a signed agreement. If this page and the agreement ever differ, the signed agreement applies.
Who you are working with

Quotes and what “fixed” means
After a brief call, we send a written quote. It sets out the package, the pages or products, the features, the price and the content we need from you.
Fixed means the price for that scope does not change. If the work takes us longer than planned, that cost is ours.
Our published prices are starting prices. Your written quote is the price you pay, plus any extras you approve in writing.
Content and the 14-day clock
The quote lists the content we need: text, images, logos, product details and access to your accounts. It also gives the date we need it by.
The 14-day schedule starts when all of that content is in. If it arrives late, the launch date moves back by the same amount.
The same applies during the project: late feedback moves the launch date.
Please only send material you have the right to use.
Payments
You pay a 50% deposit to start and 50% at launch, or three instalments if the quote says so. All payments go through Stripe.
We invoice in euros, US dollars or pounds sterling, and the quote states the currency. We add VAT where it applies, and the quote shows whether it does.
Rounds of changes
Every project includes two rounds of changes: one at the design stage (Days 3–5) and one at review (Days 12–13). A round is one set of feedback, sent together by one decision-maker.
Extra rounds and anything outside the quote are priced in writing before we start them. Nothing extra is charged without your written approval.
The design-stage refund
At the design stage, you see a homepage design, send one round of changes and get a second version. If the second version still misses, you can stop the project there and we refund your deposit in full.
The refund applies at the design stage only. Once you approve the design and the build starts, the normal payment terms apply.
Ownership
Your domain, hosting and accounts belong to you from day one. We work in them using access you give us.
The code, design and content we create for your project become yours, including the intellectual property, when you make the final payment.
Third-party items, such as fonts, themes and plugins, stay under their own licences. Some are free, some are paid, and paid licences may need renewing.
Care plans
Care plans cost €39 or €99 a month. Each has a 3-month minimum and then runs month to month. After the minimum, you can cancel with 30 days’ notice.
What we do not do
We do not run ongoing SEO campaigns or manage advertising. Our work is building the site and, on a care plan, looking after it.
Limitation of liability
In plain words: if something goes wrong because of our work, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us for that project.
We are not liable for indirect losses, such as lost profits or lost business. We are also not liable for outages or changes at third-party services your site relies on, such as Shopify, Stripe, your hosting provider or plugin makers.
Nothing here limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit. If you are buying as a consumer, your legal rights as a consumer stay in place.
Governing law
Lithuanian law governs these terms and our agreements. Disputes go to the courts of Vilnius, unless the law gives you the right to use the courts where you live.
If something goes wrong, please email us first and we will try to put it right.
