What a 14-day website needs

Our 14-day schedule starts when your content is in. What has to be true for it to work, what happens on each day and what does not fit.

Our schedule runs for 14 days, from the day your content is in to launch. The design and build can be planned to the day. Content is the part only you can supply, so the clock starts when it arrives.

Why content is the real bottleneck

A studio controls its own work. It cannot write your prices, your opening hours or the story of your business. Those facts have to come from you, and someone has to approve them.

Faster offers depend on the same thing. A Contra listing for a seven-day site, with up to 5 pages from $4,500, starts its schedule only after the scope is locked and the content is approved. A DesignRush profile that promises a website in seven days lists one-month durations for its own portfolio work.

AI drafts help with wording. They still need your facts and your approval.

What has to be true

Content comes first. Text, photos, logos and, for a shop, product details arrive before Day 1. Day 1 starts once they are all in.

Two rounds of changes. One at design and one at review. Each round is one set of feedback, sent together.

The scope is fixed. The quote sets the package and what it covers. Starter covers business-card sites, portfolios and simple blogs, Business covers up to 8 pages, and Commerce covers a Shopify or WooCommerce shop with up to 50 products.

New requests get a written price first, and they can move the launch date.

One person decides. One decision-maker gives the feedback and approves each stage. Feedback from several people takes longer to collect and can pull in different directions.

What we do on each day

Day What happens
Day 0 Brief call, then a written fixed quote. The clock has not started yet.
Days 1–2 Content. We arrange your material into pages and draft small gaps for you to check.
Days 3–5 Design. You see the homepage design and send one round of changes.
Days 6–11 Build on WordPress, Shopify or custom static code (Astro). You get a preview link.
Days 12–13 Review. You send the second round of changes, and we finish testing.
Day 14 Launch and handover. The second 50% is due.

If the second homepage design still misses, you can stop at the design stage and get your 50% deposit back.

The domain, hosting and accounts are yours throughout. The code becomes yours with the final payment at launch.

We use AI for drafts, code and testing, and a person checks everything. That check matters. In a survey of 36 Duda customers, 78% of agencies named efficiency and higher margins as their top AI priority, and 64% named ‘AI slop’, low-quality AI content, as their main quality concern.

Duda sells the website platform those agencies use, and 36 is a small sample. The worry is still a fair one.

Limits of the 14-day schedule

Some projects do not fit, and we will say so on the brief call.

  • Content that is not ready. If text, photos or product data are still being written, the clock waits.
  • Bigger scopes. Sites over 8 pages and shops with more than 50 products sit outside our packages.
  • Custom features. Member areas, complex booking rules and links to stock or accounting systems need more time.
  • Extra rounds of changes. They are possible, priced in writing first, and they add days.
  • Other people’s timetables. Domain transfers and payment provider checks run at their own pace.
  • Ongoing marketing. We do not run ongoing SEO campaigns or ads.
